Oh hi, welcome to
Ooze & Tang.
Open from 5pm Mon, Tue, Fri & Sat
Advance online reservations are recommended for our dining room tables. We always do our best to seat walk-ins though. We’ve got some bar tables and outdoor tables unreserved for spontaneous legends. Come on down.
Ooze & Tang is an independent little restaurant with a great bar. Our team of passionate hospitality professionals can’t wait to welcome you to our tables with heartfelt enthusiasm and exceptional service. We serve up flavourful food prepared with skill and attention to detail. Think modern Australian/European bistro vibes. Our focus is seasonal snack plates and share style dishes. Our small, ever-changing menu stems from the question “is it delicious?”
Equally important to showcasing delicious food; we’re serious beverage nerds too. We curate an ever-changing roster of refreshments. With a big focus on boutique independent producers. There’s a lot of good stuff happening in the beverage world, both locally and further afield. We look forward to sharing our love of seriously great drinks with you.
Our little owner/operated venue is in Abbey, WA on Monaghan’s Corner. It’s a short drive from Busselton, Dunsborough, and Vasse. See Ooze & Tang location.

We’re open from 5pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays (we’re closed on Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.) The latest dinner sitting in the reservation system is 8pm. However, we can usually accommodate walk-ins for snacks or dessert up until about 9pm. We are licensed to serve drinks without food, so you can pop in for just a cheeky drink. We have a very well equipped bar. The rule is the kitchen must be open. Which is until 9pm-ish. Sometimes a smidgen later in summer, sometimes a little earlier in winter.
We do not have a specific children’s menu. Children are welcome to join us and eat from the regular menu with their families.
Friendly dogs welcome on the front patio - weather permitting.
Limited (yet still very delicious) options for people with dietary requirements. Please do let us know if your diet has any restrictions. Gluten free and dairy free are easier for us to cater for. The trickiest ones for us are onion/garlic allergies, FODMAP, and vegans; as these usually require prior prep. We may be able to make off menu magic happen in our kitchen. Isaac and Cassie are incredibly good chefs, and impressively adaptive. We do recommend you book at least a day or two in advance if you have dietary restrictions. We want to prepare as best we can in our little cooked-from-scratch kitchen. You can still totally pop in for a drink and snack spontaneously though. But, for full feasts for people with allergies or dietary restrictions we really want a couple of days notice so that we can make it nice.
We acknowledge the traditional lands of the Wardandi Noongar People, and pay our respects to Elders past, present and future.
